So, er, I decided to create a Last.fm Gelatinous Goo Productions page. Yes, it is yet another social networking sort of site, but basically it is also free promotion. Since my music will likely always be free for downloading, I figured it wouldn't hurt. So, go visit the Gelatinous Goo page at last.fm. I promise to upload more than my own music, since I also record other people here from time to time, but at the moment, the same old stuff that I usually post is up. I have had a request to post some of the older Delic material as well, so I probably will at some point in the future. Stay tuned. I am in high spirits. Here is why: First, I got to go see Viva DeConcini on Wednesday, and she is way past awesome. It was uber inspiring, and I am starting to feel the need to play and write and record in a big way. Go listen to her stuff, you will not be disappointed. It can be found here. Second, I have a vacation from school coming up in about a week. Things will get done in that time period that I need to do, like setting up my recording gear again. I can't wait.

For whatever reason (well, actually a specific one, but I will get to that in a minute), I have decided to update the cover of the spleek-o-matic SPEAKS!!! album to include my name on the cover. It was a bit of an oversight not to put it there, or more likely part of the charade that I was playing at the time. Needless to say, I am it's sole performer, and my name isn't really on it, so I thought it was time to own up to the noise I make, and label it properly. If you downloaded it before, get this new one. Or not. It really isn't much different, in fact, it looks like this:

Of course, this means that the mp3's are embedded with the old one for now, because I don't really feel like fixing that tonight. Perhaps I will later, but if it bothers you, download the new one and change it!

All this and I am sick with some crazy upper respitory flu thing. And Zelda is sitting on me. The thing about sickness is this: I secretly like the alternate world view (and sometimes hallucinations) that are caused by severe illness. It is just that I don't have time to properly enjoy it, you know, lying in bed and seeing stars. There is too much other stuff to do. Also, I will probably read this tomorrow and realize that updating your website is not a good idea when you are ill, because I am sure I am into the rambling stage.
